HCE MACISTE®  and HURACLEAN safety filters are critical for the protection of the domestic drinking water system, playing a crucial role in safeguarding pipelines and connected appliances. Here are some of the main benefits of installing HCE filters:

When selecting an HCE safety filter, it is essential to evaluate the quality of the water to be treated and the main contaminants present. HCE MACISTE®  and HURACLEAN filters stand out for their ability to effectively remove pebbles, rust scale, and other oxides and metal debris with a maximum size of 2 mm. They are not suitable for filtering water containing large amounts of sand, coarse bodies larger than 2 mm, silt and chemicals.

MACISTE®  and HURACLEAN safety water filters should be installed on the cold water pipe entering from the waterworks, or upstream of the hydraulic circuit to protect all devices placed after the filter.

HCE MACISTE®  and HURACLEAN safety water filters require regular periodic maintenance in order to ensure the potability requirements of treated water.

Routine maintenance is very simple and can be carried out by the end user every 3 months (or whenever the need) by closing the shut-off valves located at the inlet and outlet of the filter. Dirt accumulated in the filter can be removed by opening the handy drain valve.

At least once a year, an additional cleaning of the filter is recommended and should be performed by a qualified plumber. In this case also the filter will be addressed by disassembling it and cleaning all parts involved in filtration process. In the case of the HURACLEAN safety filter, an innovative cyclonic cleaning system will allow a semi-automatic cleaning of the bowl and the components involved in filtration.
