Magnetic dirt separators

When selecting a magnetic dirt separator it is important to consider several technical characteristics, including type of system, its size, water flow, water conditions, and the technical specifications of the dirt separator itself. The entire filtering system is placed at the top of the device, ensuring that it is not clogged by captured dirt. This allows for constant pressure drop over time and to reduce maintenance work. It can be installed on boiler and heat pump systems, horizontally, vertically and 45°. DirtOUT™ DUAL MODE: in addition to the patented system with the triple sequential filtering action, the special by-pass can partialize the flow rate passing through the device and thus increase the Kv value. So, in maintenance mode, the system components are subjected to less stress and there is a saving in electricity consumption up to 15%.

DirtOUT™ HP: the specific dirt separator for heat pumps with in-series polyethylene insulation and equipped with double filtering system (super powerful magnet and special filter mesh with increased surface area). It is especially suitable for high flow rates.

POWER CLEAN™: all-brass, super heavy, resistant dirt separator particularly suitable for high temperatures and pressures. It features dual filtering action: a super-powerful magnet captures ferrous particles and the special cartridge forces water through two steps of mechanical filtration. Available with horizontal or swivel in-line connection.

In general, HCE magnetic dirt separators do not need to be replaced. The amount of sludge and impurities sedimented in the devices depends on the conditions and materials of the plant. Although the devices have a very large settling chamber, maintenance should still be scheduled. There are two levels of maintenance: basic and thorough cleaning. The latter should be carried out when the boiler is turned off and the system is cold to prevent ferromagnetic impurities from flowing back in after removing the magnet.
