Polyphosphate dosing units

PoliFILTER® and PoliFILTER® BYPASS polyphosphate and silicate ball dosing unit: super-compact, it can also be installed horizontally, allowing it to be installed even in small spaces. There is also a by-pass version that allows to replaced the refill without interrupting the water flow.

PoliFILTER® XL high flow rate polyphosphate and silicate ball dosing unit: ideal for installation at the inlet of the water system, it also has an installation socket for water hammer damper.

The lifespan of dosing units is affected by: water temperature, operating pressure, periodicity of use, and frequency of drawdown. These devices require regular maintenance to ensure the potability requirements of the treated water and the maintenance of improvements as stated by the manufacturer. If the period of inactivity is more than 1 week, a sanitary water flush is recommended; if the period of inactivity of the piping is more than 6 months, it is necessary to replace the salts and flush the device. Polyphosphate dosing have to be installed on the pipe that carries domestic cold water to the boiler or to protect other appliances such as water heaters, washing machines and dishwashers. Instead, the PoliFILTER® XL dosing unit should be installed at the water system inlet.
